I am drawn to knowing people behind the veneers. It is such a privilege to really know a person. At rock bottom, the greatest human longing is to be known and to know that we are known.
I would like for everyone I encounter--the people I work with in my practice, students, or colleagues--to experience a sense of connectedness and relationship, to know that he or she is part of a larger family, the collective, world-family. We are at a very crucial crossroads in the history of humankind. Given our tendency toward projection and polarization, without an understanding of the psyche, we are starved for a bridge that will engage us with our deeper selves, our inner lives, our creative and healing imaginations.
I am dedicated to helping others to locate that flow of aliveness through guided self-reflection that I like to call "therapy with soul."
